The Comrades Ball Club Vejle was founded in 1944 when a group of friends could not play in the existing Vejle Boldklub team. They decided to set up their own club and called it Boldklubben Kammeraterne. Already in 1948, the club joined the Søndermarkens Sports Club as they didn’t have an own field facility to play on. The Søndre facilities expanded over time and to this day, the comrades house is at Søndre Stadium. Nowadays the club, which is run by volunteers, offers football as well as tennis and badminton.
FIFA Quality Pro approved
In April 2020, the Comrades Ball Club Vejle got a brand-new soccer field. WGS offered the club our Edel Flashblade 60-14 SB-S system and got the assignment to install the field. Together with installing partners ALK Sports and DLH Montage, WGS designed the new layout and built the field according to FIFA Quality Pro approvals. The re-opening took place in May and the field was ready for the new season.

The club was rather enthusiastic about the new field, even before the pitch was put to use again. They stated:
