We’re pleased to introduce Rolf ter Wee!

Behind every successful delivery and smooth production schedule, there’s people making sure all the moving parts come together seamlessly. At Edel Grass, our operations department is the last station before client projects are produced. Needless to say, an important checkpoint, now enforced with an experienced professional like Rolf.

Living near Genemuiden in Zwolle and bringing  with him over 20 years of experience in logistics, planning, and operations, Rolf joins us as our new ‘Production coordinator’. Besides his new role he’s also completing his BSc title in Business Administration and already bringing hands-on knowledge to the operations team.

Rolf was hand-selected for this role by our recruiter Janta. She quickly recognized his personality and skills matching Edel Grass and the open position. After initial talks, he was introduced to Operations manager Jarik and his operations team, where he made great impression. What drew Rolf to the world of artificial turf? For him, it’s the perfect blend of being able to deploy his experience and at the same time take on a challenge in an industry new to him.

“I really enjoy combining my knowledge and skills to achieve the best possible result.” Rolf says. Already his first days at Edel Grass left a great impression. “The kickoff went very well. Everyone made me feel welcome, and the openness with which people share their knowledge gives me confidence that I will succeed in this role.”

Rolf is eager to dive deeper into the world of sports grass and is motivated to reach the high standards set by his now retired predecessor taking 45 years(!) of experience with him. His first goal? To grow in both skill and understanding.

When he’s not coordinating production or optimizing logistics, Rolf enjoys spending quality time with his family. He’s a big fan of Formula 1 and fits in a visit to the gym whenever time allows.
