A climate like the one in Israel is highly demanding for sports pitches. High temperatures, intense sunlight and long dry spells call for an artificial turf system that remains in good condition even under these harsh weather conditions.
Green Sport System contractor and installer at site, selected our Edel Powerblade 60 mm for both projects. This system is constructed with strong monofilament yarns featuring a robust yarn-thickness of 410 microns. Combined with the 60 mm pile height, the system is suitable for various performance infill granules. In this case the artificial turf has been installed using a combination of sand as a stabilising infill and recycled rubber granules to create the performance top-layer.
The combination of durable fibres, performance infill and optional shock pad makes the systems contribute to sustainable sports infrastructure with long-lasting value. The end-result is an extremely resilient, stable construction offering a pitch with consistent playing characteristics.

A key feature of the chosen solution is that the Edel Powerblade system is FIFA Quality and Quality Pro approved. This means the system meets the high-performance standards required for modern football pitches and is applicable at every club level competition as well as in stadium environments or professional top leagues.

Although the projects in Bat Hadar and Beit Dagan are focused on football; Edel Powerblade’s versatility in configuration makes it suitable for other sports, including rugby, american football and even baseball.
