To infill or not to infill?
Performance infill (3G) systems
Systems that feature a performance infill like cork or other granulates, match playing characteristics of natural football turf in the best possible way.
Sand or mineral infill systems
A sand or mineral infill football field only needs a certain layer of sand within the turf structure to keep te mat in place and offer stability for players.
Infill free (non-infill) systems
An infill free system is free of any infill and also referred to as full turf systems. They often are equiped with an extra texturized yarn and built on a shockpad to replace the shock absorbing and stabilization capabilities of sand and performance infill.
