Supporting a next generation with Diamondblade Enduro!
In Dunajská Streda, football is is part of the identity of the city and an important part of the future of the club.
MOL Football Academy is an extensive training complex of approximately 18 hectares where the first team and the club’s youth academy come together. With a combination of natural grass pitches, artificial turf fields and specialised training facilities, the academy provides an environment where players can develop from their first steps in football all the way to the professional level.
FC DAC 1904 competes in the Niké Liga, Slovakia’s top football division, and finished second in the 2025/26 season. But behind the performances on matchday lies the daily work on the training ground: the sessions, the preparation, the development of young talent and the facilities that make it all possible.

For a professional football club, a training pitch needs to be ready for football. Day after day, season after season. It needs to offer consistency for the players, reliability for the coaching staff and the durability to cope with intensive use.
That is why we offered and installed our Diamondblade Enduro, featuring a double tuft system. With a pile height of 55 mm and 10 stitches, this turf system was designed to provide a high-quality and stable playing surface for the demanding training environment of a professional football academy.
The system is completed with a stabilising infill of sand and EPDM, creating the foundation for a consistent playing experience across the pitch. Due to the open structure, the field handles infill extremely well by keeping it evenly spread. This also gives the field outstanding aesthetics.
From the first step to the final installation
For this project, Edel Grass took responsibility for more than just supplying the turf. Our specialized installations department acted as both main contractor and installer, bringing projectmanagement, product knowledge and installation expertise together under one roof.
That means one partner, one team and one clear focus. Delivering a pitch that is ready for football!
From the preparation of the project through to the installation of the Diamondblade Enduro system, every stage was brought together to create a finished playing surface that meets the professional standards expected at the MOL Football Academy.
The system is designed in accordance with the FIFA Quality standard, providing the level of performance expected from a modern professional football facility.
